Sewer Mains-Our professional foremen have installed miles of sewer mains through some of the most uninviting conditions found in the North Carolina. Laying sewer mains through solid granite domes and swamps, above ground to twenty feet below, with challenges faced and overcome such as these, your project will be met with the equipment and know-how to satisfy your needs on time and within your budget.

Earth Moving-This is what we love to do most. Last year we moved over 50,000 dump-truck loads of dirt. Our fleet is geared to move massive amounts of dirt faster than our competitors. We have built a fleet of equipment as well as a network of friends that enable us to move dirt on, off, or around your site as efficiently as possible.

Road Construction-If you have the road, we have the equipment, people, and desire to get the job done. We will build anything from dirt access roads to divided four lane highways. If you have driven through the Research Triangle Park in the last year, you probably traveled on roads constructed by Atwell Construction.

Bridge Construction-Atwell Construction identified the need to expand into bridge construction four years ago. Many bridges built for the North Carolina Department of Transportation later, we have assembled a team of experienced crewmembers who have mastered the challenges faced in the construction of bridges up to 220 feet in length. Everything from the demolition of the existing bridge to driving piles, forming and pouring the concrete substructure to placing the bridge deck is performed in house.
